  1. The windshield washer pump in the 2016 Dodge Dart is way too amped.

In April 2016, engineers were able to duplicate the failure of the [windshield wiper] body control module and in May had identified the cause as transient voltage spikes coming from the windshield washer pump.

The investigation came after hundreds of warranty claims were filed about the wipers failing. The recalled Darts will need a kinder, gentler pump.

  2. Fiat-Chrysler (FCA) used expired primer to install the windshields in the 2015-2016 Chrysler Town and Country and 2014-2015 Dodge Grand Caravan.

And guess what? It's doing a terrible job stopping the windshields from falling out.

The automaker says lab results showed using urethane with a primer that expired in July 2015 always passed the tests. However, using urethane with a primer that expired in January 2015 failed 100 percent of the time.

    Shocking.

  3. Fiat-Chrysler (FCA) is recalling over 1,600 vans because their hoods keep flying up while on the road.

Listen, I enjoy a good game of peek-a-boo with my toddler, but peek-a-boo with the road? That's not a good time. According to FCA, the bolts that attach the hood striker are coming loose over time.

Full details about the recall, and contact information for both Chrysler and Dodge, are available on CarComplaints.com.

  4. People buy the SRT Viper because it grabs the road and doesn't let go.

Unfortunately, the door latches aren't quite as grabby.

"Fiat Chrysler is recalling 1,762 model year 2013-14 Dodge Viper SRT cars because the doors can fly open while driving."

The problem is caused by the sealant that's applied to the switches on the Viper's door latches. Full details about the recall are available on our site.
